The plane has been removed from the water.
The Dunedin Fire Department continues to monitor the small fuel leak into the ocean but it does not appear to be a concern at this time.

DUNEDIN - Deputies assigned to the Patrol Operations Bureau and the Marine Unit are currently on scene of an emergency controlled landing of a small aircraft off Honeymoon Island.
Deputies responded around 12:38pm to an aircraft that experienced engine problems while airborne, forcing an emergency controlled landing. Two occupants were on board and were able to exit the aircraft and walk to shore. No injuries have been reported.
The Dive Team has noticed a small fuel leak into the water at this time.
