Since 1993, Ride and Run with the Stars has raised money for the Sheriff’s Christmas Sharing Project to provide food, clothing, books, and toys for children and families in need.

The holiday season should be a time of joy and wonder for every child, but for too many kids in Pinellas County, the table that should have a holiday feast is empty, and the space under the tree is bare. Throughout the year, deputies and Victim Advocates identify families who are in need because of economic hardship or who are victims of crime. Families share their Christmas wish list, and between Sheriff’s Christmas Sharing Project funds and adoptions, the kids’ dreams come true. Bikes and scooters are popular requests, as well as educational toys for younger children, but parents also ask for necessities like diapers and wipes, and kids’ bedding.

You can help make sure kids in need have a great Christmas by joining us at Ride and Run with the Stars on Saturday, November 21, 2026 at an exciting new location – Waterfront Park in the City of Safety Harbor. After many wonderful years at North Beach in Fort De Soto Park, this beautiful waterfront venue offers a vibrant community setting that will allow the event to continue growing while creating an even more memorable experience for participants, families, and supporters.
